This EPR bill covers single use packaging (excluding packaging covered in the bottle bill). This bill was signed into law on 7/12/21.

Stewardship organizations are submitting bids to oversee the program. Once the government selects one, the law will be implemented in 180 days or less.

This bill was passed in 2015.

• 15¢ refundable deposit on spirits and wine beverage containers

• 5¢ refundable deposit on beer, hard cider, wine coolers, soda, or noncarbonated water beverage containers, and alcoholic or noncarbonated drinks sold in the State
